SEN School Manager brings pupil records, guardian contacts, attendance with DfE codes, a centralised parent-messaging inbox and an event and incident log with a safeguarding workflow into one place — built for the way special schools actually work rather than adapted from a mainstream MIS.
A companion staff app logs events on the move and keeps working when the signal does not, which matters in a building with thick walls and a large site.

Pupil profiles with guardian contacts and relationships, held in the school's own system rather than a supplier's cloud.
Attendance with DfE codes
Registers marked with the statutory DfE attendance codes, taken from a phone or tablet as easily as from a desk.
Centralised parent inbox
One messaging inbox for parent communication, so conversations are not scattered across personal email and text messages.
Event and incident log
An evidence log with a safeguarding workflow, so concerns are recorded consistently and follow a defined path.
Offline-capable staff app
A companion PWA for logging events on the move, with day and week schedule views and attendance taken straight from the card.
PIN and biometric app lock
Staff unlock the app with a fingerprint or Face ID, with a PIN as backup. Saved logins stay encrypted on the device and are never sent to the school site.
Family app
A separate installable app for families, with its own name, icon and branding so it feels like the school's own.
School branding
Apply the school's name, logo, colours and app icon across both apps and the sign-in screens, with a live side-by-side preview.
Built for scrutiny
Special-category data about children is handled deliberately: deploy on hosting with encryption at rest, restricted access, backups and a documented retention policy, and complete a DPIA before going live.
